The book “Jalaa’ al-Afham fi the Virtue of Blessings upon Muhammad, the Best of Humans,” by Ibn al-Qayyim, which is a book that is unique in its meaning, examining the virtue of blessings and peace upon the Prophet Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. The author explains the hadiths contained in this matter, distinguishes the authentic ones from the good ones and the bad ones, then deals with the secrets and honor of this supplication and the rulings and benefits it contains, in addition to explaining the reasons for praying for him and the amount of it that is obligatory.
