كتاب في الأمر بالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر لابن تيمية، يبين أن هذه الشعيرة من أصول الدين، إذ أن رسالة الله تقوم على الأمر والنهي والإباحة. يتناول الكتاب مراتب الأمر بالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر، والشروط الواجبة في الآمر والناهي، ويربط بين المعاصي والمصائب، ويقسم الذنوب والأنفس، ويتطرق إلى ذم البخل والجبن، والصبر على المصائب، وأصناف الناس في الشجاعة والأمر بالمعروف. كما يفصل في منزلة الإخلاص والصواب، ويؤكد أن إسلام الوجه لله والإحسان هما أصلا الشريعة.

A book on enjoining good and forbidding evil by Ibn Taymiyyah, which explains that this ritual is one of the foundations of religion, as God’s message is based on command, prohibition, and permissibility. The book deals with the levels of enjoining good and forbidding evil, the obligatory conditions for enjoining and forbidding, linking sins and calamities, dividing sins and lives, and addressing the condemnation of stinginess and cowardice, patience in the face of calamities, and the types of people in courage and enjoining good.
