العبودية أو رسالة العبودية هو أحد كتب الفقيه الحنبلي شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية، وهي رسالة صغيرة عبارة عن جواب على أسئلة وُجِّهت إليه، سُئل فيه عن العبادة ما هي؟ وما فروعها؟ وهل مجموع الدين داخل فيها أم لا؟ وما حقيقة العبودية؟ وهل هي أعلى المقامات في الدنيا والآخرة أم فوقها شيء من المقامات. وقد تناول فيها ابن تيمية أعمال القلوب، وبيَّن المعنى الحقيقي للعبودية، وخطورة تعلق القلب بما هو زائل من أعراض الدنيا. …

Slavery or the Message of Slavery is one of the books of the Hanbali jurist Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah. It is a small message that is an answer to questions directed to him, in which he was asked about worship: What is it? What are its branches? Is the total debt included in it or not? What is the truth about slavery? Is it the highest position in this world and the hereafter, or is there any position above it? In it, Ibn Taymiyyah discussed the actions of the heart, and explained the true meaning of servitude, and the danger of the heart’s attachment to the fleeting symptoms of this world. …
