هذا الكتاب لشيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية يتناول الفروق الجوهرية بين عبادات أهل الإسلام القائمة على التوحيد واتباع الشرع، وعبادات أهل الشرك والنفاق. يبين المؤلف أن العبادة الصحيحة تبنى على أصلين: إخلاص العبادة لله وحده، والاتباع لما شرعه الله على لسان رسله. يستعرض الكتاب مواقف الصحابة والتابعين، ويحذر من البدع والشركيات كاتخاذ القبور مساجد، مؤكدًا على أهمية المتابعة للرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم في جميع العبادات.

Translation

This book by Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah deals with the fundamental differences between the worship of the people of Islam, which are based on monotheism and following the Sharia, and the worship of the people of polytheism and hypocrisy. The author shows that correct worship is built on two principles: sincerity of worship to God alone, and following what God has legislated through the words of His messengers. The book reviews the positions of the Companions and followers, and warns against heresies and polytheism, such as using graves as mosques, stressing the importance of following the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, in all acts of worship.
