This manuscript is the fourth part of the book “Al-Fawa’id Al-Muntakatah Al-Awali”, which is a collection of hadith selected by Al-Hafiz Omar bin Jaafar Al-Basri from the hadiths of Abu Bakr Ahmad bin Jaafar Al-Quta’i on the authority of his sheikhs. The book falls within the hadith manuscripts concerned with narrating hadiths supported by high levels of chain of transmission. The copy included multiple speakers from narrators across different classes, which reflects the interest of hadith scholars in transmitting and narrating these hadiths.
