The prevailing light in knowing the news of Tamim Al-Dari - manuscript

This manuscript by Al-Maqrizi is a brief treatise devoted to studying the news of Tamim Al-Dari, may God be pleased with him, where the author begins with an introduction about the origin of humanity and the lineage of nations, agreeing with the Islamic consensus that all people are descendants of Adam and then Noah, peace be upon them, and exposing the opinions of other nations such as India and China regarding the story of the flood. The book is included among the modern manuscripts, and in its first chapters it deals with issues of lineage and tribal divisions of the Arabs, in preparation for arriving at the news of the great companions of Tamim al-Dari.
