Mention of the sheikhs of Sharif Abi Al-Fadl Ibn Al-Mahdi - manuscript

Translation

This is a manuscript of my hadiths that includes the biographies of the sheikhs of the author Abu al-Fadl Ibn al-Mahdi, mentioning their conditions and dates of death and selecting some of their hadiths. The author arranged his sheikhs according to their classes, starting with Banu Hashim, then the authentic witnesses, then the jurists, then the reciters, then the preachers and ascetics, then the sheikhs of hadith and memorizers, then the rest of the virtuous. The manuscript contains the chain of transmission of his narration through the author’s son, through his father, and through Al-Hafiz Abu Tahir Al-Salafi.
