This manuscript is part of the dictates of Imam Abu Bakr Ahmad ibn al-Fadl ibn Muhammad al-Batarqani, which is one sitting that he dictated to his students in the month of Ramadan in the year four hundred and fifty-eight. The book is included among the hadith manuscripts, in which the author narrates prophetic hadiths transmitted by his sheikhs with continuous chains of transmission, beginning with the hadith, “Actions are but by intentions.”
