Daniel's sheikhdom - manuscript

Translation

This manuscript is “Daniel’s Mashaykh” compiled by Daniyal ibn Mankali ibn Sarfa al-Karaki, and it is a hadith work that falls within the hadith manuscripts. The book includes a summary of his narrations and chains of transmission from his trustworthy sheikhs. The author begins with an introduction in which he describes Judge Diya al-Din Abi al-Fadayl Daniel’s request to produce a sheikh that includes the foundations of his speakers and his narrations on the authority of the sheikhs. Then he cites the hadiths attributed with their chains of transmission to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
