Translation

This manuscript is “Selected from the Hadith of Al-Jassas and Al-Hana’i” by Abu Al-Abbas Ahmad bin Abdul-Daim Al-Maqdisi. It is a collection of hadiths that selects hadiths from the narrations of the two sheikhs, Abu Yusuf Yaqoub bin Ahmad Al-Jassas and Abu Bakr Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Hana’i, on the authority of their sheikhs. The manuscript includes various prophetic hadiths with their chains of transmission, including those related to worship, etiquette, and preaching, such as a hadith about cupping for the fasting person in ihram and a hadith forbidding insulting the companions.
