This is a book on hadith texts, in which Imam al-Bukhari collected prophetic hadiths and traces from the Companions and Followers, and arranged them into chapters that begin with a Qur’anic verse, to explain the virtues of good morals and Islamic etiquette. The first section of it focuses on honoring one’s parents and maintaining family ties. It mentions rulings, virtues, and punishments related to these duties, beginning with a chapter on the interpretation of the Almighty’s saying (And We have enjoined upon man to be good to his parents).
