The book “The Supplication” by Al-Tabarani is a hadith compilation of the supplications of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. The author wrote it to address the spread of innovated, resonant supplications that have no basis in the Sunnah. The book begins by mentioning the virtues and etiquette of supplication, then arranges its chapters according to the circumstances in which the Prophet used to supplicate, including rulings such as the dislike of sajnah and aggression in supplication, and qualities such as raising the hands and assurance, and response times such as Friday.
