The book “Al-Sunnah” by Ibn Abi Asim is a compilation of hadith texts, collecting prophetic hadiths related to condemning whims and innovations, urging adherence to the Sunnah and the community, and warning against newly-invented matters and division. The book deals with doctrinal topics such as contentment with destiny, taking the covenant, creation of the pen, and issues of the children of polytheists, based on narrations attributed to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
