Al-Tairiyat is a book written by Al-Hafiz Abu Tahir Sadr al-Din Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Salfa, selected from the originals of the books of his sheikh, Abu Al-Hussein bin Abdul-Jabbar Al-Tairy Al-Sayrafi. The book is known as “The Birds,” and this selection contains many and varied narrations, distinguished by the superiority of their chains of narration, and the humor of their topics, in addition to the interesting and strange things they contain, songs and stories.
