The book “Al-Maraseel” by Abu Dawud Al-Sijistani is a book on the texts of hadith. It collects the hadiths narrated by the followers on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, without mentioning the companions. The compiler arranged them according to the chapters of jurisprudence, beginning with the book of purity, then prayer, then fasting, zakat, Hajj, and other rulings. The book includes hadiths with their chains of transmission, and is concerned with collecting correspondences that are a type of Prophetic hadith.
