The book “Al-Musnad” by Al-Shashi is a compilation of hadith texts, collecting hadiths narrated from the honorable companions, arranged according to the names of the companions who narrated on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. The book begins by mentioning the hadiths reported on the authority of Talha bin Ubaid Allah, then moves to other companions such as Al-Zubair bin Al-Awwam, Saad bin Abi Waqqas, and Omar bin Al-Khattab, while tracking the different narrations about each companion through his students and hadith narrators about him.
