The book “Al-Muntaqa min al-Sunan al-Musnad” by Ibn al-Jaroud is a book on the texts of the Prophet’s hadith, which collects hadiths on rulings arranged according to the chapters of jurisprudence. The book begins with the Book of Purity, covering the obligations and contradictions of ablution, the prescription for ablution, wiping over the socks, the rulings on impurity and menstruation, and other issues of purity, based on the chain of transmission of hadiths.
