Musnad of Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi

Musnad Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi is one of the books of hadith according to the Sunnis and the community. It was compiled by the hadith scholar Yunus bin Habib, who died in 267 AH. He narrated it on the authority of his sheikh, Imam Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi. He also narrated a few hadiths on the authority of other than Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi. The book is compiled in the manner of Musnads, meaning that the hadiths are arranged according to their narration by the Companions, and each Musnad collects the hadiths narrated by a specific Companion. The author began the book with the support of the ten promised Paradise. He also started with the Musnads of the male Companions, and placed the Musnads of the Women Companions in the middle of the Musnads of the Men, and began the Musnads of the Women Companions with the Musnad of Fatima, daughter of the Prophet Muhammad. The total number of narrated hadiths amounted to about 2882 hadiths.
