The book “Mawarid al-Thirst to Ibn Hibban’s Addendums” by the author Nour al-Din al-Haythami is a book on hadith texts, in which the author collected the excess hadiths that were unique to Sahih Ibn Hibban over the Sahihs of al-Bukhari and Muslim, and arranged them into jurisprudential chapters to facilitate access to them. The author committed himself to mentioning the hadith with its chain of transmission with the Companion as its narrator, relying on the authentication of Ibn Hibban, with reference to what may be the subject of the words of some of the memorizers. The book begins with the Book of Faith, then the Book of Knowledge, and includes various sections that include rulings, etiquette, rituals, interpretation, and others.
