الأصول في النحو كتابٌ في النحو العربي، لأبي بكر بن السراج المتوفى سنة (316 هـ)، لهذا الكتاب منزلة خاصة عند النحويين، ولآرائه أهمية كبرى في علم النحو، جمع مؤلفه فيه أبواب النحو والصرف، ورتب فيه مسائل سيبويه أحسن ترتيب، واختصر فيه أصول العربية، وجمع مقاييسها حتى قيل:«ما زال النحو مجنوناً حتى عقله ابن السراج بأصوله». حققه عبد الحسين الفتلي، وطبعته مؤسسة الرسالة في بيروت أربع مرات بثلاثة أجزاء، وجمع فهارسه محمود الطناحي في كتيّبٍ منفصل، ثم حققه محمد عثمان سنة 2009.

Translation

Al-Usul fi Grammar is a book on Arabic grammar, by Abu Bakr bin Al-Siraj, who died in the year (316 AH). This book has a special status among grammarians, and its opinions are of great importance in the science of grammar. Its author collected in it the chapters on grammar and morphology, and arranged in it the issues of Sibawayh in the best order. He summarized the fundamentals of Arabic and collected its standards until it was said: “Grammar was still crazy until Ibn Al-Sarraj made sense of its principles.” It was verified by Abdul Hussein Al-Fatli, and printed by Al-Resala Foundation in Beirut four times in three parts. Its indexes were collected by Mahmoud Al-Tanahi in a separate booklet, then edited by Muhammad Othman in 2009.
