هذا كتاب مختصر في علم النحو والصرف، خصصه مؤلفه لدراسة حرف اللام واستقصاء أنواعه ومواقعه في كلام العرب وفي القرآن الكريم. يبدأ المؤلف بتعداد واحد وثلاثين لامًا، مبينًا معانيها وتصرفاتها، ومحتجًا لكل موقع من مواقعها، مع ذكر ما قد يثور حول بعضها من خلاف بين العلماء. ينتقل الكتاب بعد ذلك إلى تفصيل هذه الأنواع بابًا بابًا، مبتدئًا باللام الأصلية التي تقع في الأسماء والأفعال والحروف.

Translation

This is a brief book on grammar and morphology. Its author devoted it to studying the letter Lām and investigating its types and locations in Arab speech and in the Holy Qur’an. The author begins by enumerating thirty-one lamas, explaining their meanings and actions, and arguing for each of their locations, while mentioning the disagreement that may arise over some of them among scholars. The book then goes on to detail these types, chapter by chapter, beginning with the original lam that occurs in nouns, verbs, and letters.
