المفتاح في الصرف كتاب في علم الصرف، من تأليف إلى عالم اللغة عبد القاهر الجرجاني. هو مفتاح لعلم الصرف فهو كتاب موجز، ضمّ الأصول في علم الصرف، دون إسهاب، وقلما يستشهد بشواهد قرآنية أو شعرية أو أقوال، وهو أشبه بالمختصرات أو الكتب الموجزة كـ: الملوكي في التصريف لابن جني، ونزهة الطرف في علم الصرف للميداني، وشافية ابن الحاجب. قال مؤلفه في مقدمة الكتاب: «هذا كتاب قليل الإِفاض، كثير المعاني، سهل للحفظ، قريب التناول، وسمّيته بِـ "المِفْتَاحِ " رجاء أن اذكر في صالح دعاءِ المؤمنين». ثم شرع في تعريف التصريف، ثم أبنية الأسماء ثم أبنية الأفعال.. إلخ.
Translation
The Key to Morphology is a book on morphology, written by the linguist Abdul Qahir al-Jurjani. It is a key to the science of morphology, as it is a brief book that includes the principles in the science of morphology, without elaboration, and it rarely cites Qur’anic or poetic evidence or sayings. It is more like abbreviations or summary books such as: Al-Maluki fi Al-Tasrif by Ibn Jinni, Nuzhat Al-Tarf fi Ilm Al-Marf by Al-Maydani, and Shafiya Ibn Al-Hajib. Its author said in the introduction to the book: “This is a book with little elaboration, many meanings, easy to memorize, and easy to understand. I named it “The Key” in the hope that I would mention it in favor of the supplications of the believers.” Then he began to define morphology, then the structures of nouns, then the structures of verbs...etc.
