هذا الكتاب "المنهل المأهول بالبناء للمجهول" لأبي الخير محمد بن ظهيرة هو تأليف في علم النحو والصرف، يتناول الأفعال العربية التي لا يُسمَّى فاعلها، المعروفة بـ"المبنية للمجهول". يدرس المصنف أنواع هذه الأفعال وقواعدها، ويستعرض آثاره العلمية وشعره في مقدمة الكتاب. يهدف الكتاب إلى توضيح قواعد بناء الأفعال التي لا يُعرف فاعلها، ويشكل أول مؤلف مستقل في هذا الموضوع، ممهداً الطريق لدراسات لاحقة في هذا المجال.

This book, “The Inhabited Manhole in the Passive Voice” by Abu al-Khair Muhammad bin Dhahirah, is a work on grammar and morphology, dealing with Arabic verbs whose subject is not named, known as “the passive voice.” The author studies the types of these verbs and their rules, and reviews his scientific effects and poetry in the introduction to the book. The book aims to clarify the rules for constructing verbs whose actor is not known, and constitutes the first independent work on this subject, paving the way for subsequent studies in this field.
