The reason for placing the Arabic flag

This is a part in which Al-Hafiz Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti collected the narrated reports on the reason for establishing the Arabic flag, and it is classified in the section on grammar and morphology. The author begins with an introduction in which he states his purpose in collecting these reports, then he cites connected narratives with his chain of transmission that tell the story of the arrival of a Bedouin in the time of Omar ibn al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, and his incorrect reading that led to a different understanding of the meaning, which was the reason for the order to establish the rules of grammar at the hands of Abu al-Aswad al-Du’ali.
