مغني اللبيب عن كتب الأعاريب هو مصنف (لغوي) في حقل النحو من أبرز إسهامات ابن هشام الأنصاري المصري عالم النحو الكبيـر المُتَوَفَّى (761 هـ)، وهو مصنف فريد من نوعه ثري في مادته لا نظير له، وهذا الكتاب بمثابة واسطة العقد ما بين كل مصنفاته وقد سلك فيه نهجا مميزا حيث جمع الأدوات والحروف مصنفة على حروف المعجم وجمع شاردها وفصل قواعدها، ثم عرّج على الأحكام العامة للجمل وأشباهها، وما يتبَع ذلك من تقسيمات وتفريعات وتبيين للقواعد الكلية للنحو والأخطاء التي يقع فيها المعربون، وهو إلى جانب هذا كلــه غزير في شواهده القرآنية والشعــرية، كما ضمّن في ثناياه آراء الكثيرين من النحاة والأعلام السابقين على ابن هشام …

Mughni al-Labib, on the books of Arabs, is a (linguistic) work in the field of grammar. One of the most prominent contributions of Ibn Hisham al-Ansari, the Egyptian great grammarian who died in 761 AH. It is a unique work of its kind, rich in its material and unparalleled. This book serves as a link between all his works, and he took a distinctive approach in it, collecting tools and letters classified according to the letters of the dictionary, collecting their fragments and separating their rules, then going over the general rulings. For sentences and the like, and what follows from that in terms of divisions, branches, and clarification of the general rules of grammar and the errors that the parsers make.
