Eating Etiquette is a book by Ibn al-Imad al-Aqfahsi in which its author explains a poetic system on the etiquette of banquets and the invitation to them and responding to them. The system consists of (328) lines of poetry that begin with this line: and end with: The book was published by Dar al-Kutub al-Ilmiyyah in Beirut in 1986 AD. It was published without introduction or definition of its subject, except for a translation of the author, which included a narrative list of his works, which are: (33) works, between a book and a treatise, including (The Clear Secret of the Properties God Has Deposited in the Parts of Animals) and (The Reporting Statement on the Error of Al-Kamal Al-Dumiri). Among his anecdotes: Research on the hadith: Dipping flies, and those who said: What is meant by flies: bees.
