إِحْيَاءُ عُلُوْمِ الدِّيْنِ أحد مؤلفات أبي حامد الغزالي ومن أهم آثاره. كتبه بالعربية بين سنوات 489 - 495 هـ/ 1096 - 1102 م بعد أن ترك منبر النظامية في بغداد سنة 1095 م/ 488 هـ وعزم على الخروج منها إلى مكة حاجًا، واعتزل في خلوة عميقة وعكف على الدرس، وكتبه في تلك الفترة. اشتهر بجهوده المتميزة في الفكر الأشعري، والفقه الشافعي، والتوجهات الروحية الصوفية. وكتابه الإحياء يعد «موسوعة صوفية سنية». ينقسم إلى أربعة أرباع، يضم كل منها عشرة كتب. يتناول الربع الأول العبادات والواجبات، مع التركيز على أركان الإسلام الخمسة. …

Translation

Reviving the Sciences of Religion is one of the works of Abu Hamid Al-Ghazali and one of his most important works. He wrote it in Arabic between the years 489 - 495 AH / 1096 - 1102 AD after he left the Nizamiyya pulpit in Baghdad in the year 1095 AD / 488 AH and decided to leave it for Mecca as a pilgrimage. He retired in deep seclusion and devoted himself to studying, and he wrote it during that period. He is famous for his distinguished efforts in Ash'ari thought, Shafi'i jurisprudence, and Sufi spiritual trends. His book Al-Ihya is considered a “Sunni Sufi encyclopedia.” It is divided into four quarters, each containing ten books.
