The book “Virtuous Ethics: Rules and Starting Points for Acquiring It” by the writer Abdullah Al-Ruhaili is concerned with studying good morals from a comprehensive Islamic perspective, based on the Qur’an, the Sunnah, and passages from the sayings of the predecessors. It reviews the definition of good morals, ways to acquire it, and the educational foundations for evaluating it. The book includes chapters detailing the moral rules derived from Sharia texts, and dividing morality into origins and branches according to their relation to God or people, with a presentation of the facts that the author arrived at during his journey. The author aims to show the importance of ethics in the life of the individual and society and provide a practical theoretical approach to its development.
