Translation

The book “Islamic Education, Its Origins and Development in the Arab Countries,” by Muhammad Munir Morsi, is concerned with studying the roots of Islamic education and the stages of its development in the Arab world, based on a historical and intellectual analysis of the educational curriculum before and after Islam. The book addresses basic concepts such as the virtue of the pen and books and the status of knowledge in Islam, and reviews the goals of Islamic education from an integrative and behavioral perspective that links the individual and society. It also provides a critical review of the methodological problems in writing in this field and is based on the recommendations of international conferences to modernize Islamic education.
