The book “Islamic Education and the Stages of Development” by Abbas Mahjoub deals with the concept of education in Islam according to the stages of human development, starting from before birth, through the stages of childhood and adulthood, until the stage of adulthood, with special attention to sexual education. The work is considered within the classification of Al-Riqaq, Adab, and Azkar, and is based on a systematic review of the developmental stages and linking them to the principles of the Islamic religion in choosing a partner and directing moral behavior.
