Translation

Al-Durari fi Dhikr al-Dharari by Ibn al-Adim belongs to the category of Al-Riqaq, Adab, and Remembrance, and in its many chapters it presents topics of raising children, urging parents to acquire them, praising and disparaging them, and directing them to care for and teach them, in addition to discussing feelings of fear, compassion, and the altruism of parents toward them. The book combines the sayings of the Prophet and religious scholars to demonstrate the value of offspring and its impact in this world and the afterlife.
