Translation

The book of Asceticism by Luki` ibn al-Jarrah deals with the topic of asceticism and austerity in this world and their virtue over the servant in the afterlife, reviewing the sayings of the predecessors and hadiths of the Prophet in this field. The book focuses on the importance of asceticism as a means of understanding religion and preparing for the afterlife, while addressing various topics such as preparing for death, crying, laughing, humility, poverty, and wealth.
