Translation
Patience, the Ride of Success, is a poem about wisdom, composed by Ibn al-Dhahir al-Irbali, and it falls within the classification of Al-Riqaq, Adab, and Remembrance. The poem includes a group of verses that deal with various topics such as the short duration of life, the virtue of piety, destiny and destiny, and the effect of reason and deliberation in decision-making. The poem shows the character of traditional Arabic literature in directing the reader to proper behavior based on patience and spiritual awareness.
