The book “The Amazing” by Ibn al-Jawzi is considered one of the important books in the field of rituals, etiquette, and remembrances, as the book presents a variety of topics that form part of the Islamic heritage. The book covers several sections, including the sciences of the Qur’an, the inflection of the language and the Qur’an’s agreement with it, the sciences of hadith, and the sources of history, in addition to mentioning our Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the genealogies of the companions and followers. The book shows the author's interest in Quranic and linguistic studies, in addition to his interest in recording Islamic history and writing down the biographies of the Companions and Followers. The book is a valuable source of information on these topics, and shows the importance of Islamic heritage in understanding Islamic history and culture.
