A book compiled by Imam Ibn al-Jawzi, in which he collected frightening hadiths, warnings against evil deeds, descriptions of punishments, and disturbing stories that worry the reassured, unsettle the tranquil, soften the hard heart, stream tears, and lift up the lazy and retiring person.
