The Knowledge Student’s Ornament” written by Bakr Abu Zaid is a book that falls under the classification of Al-Riqaq, Etiquette, and Remembrance. It specializes in the student’s etiquette in seeking Islamic knowledge, and in its chapters, it presents the student’s etiquette with himself, with his sheikh, and with his colleagues, in addition to ways of seeking and receiving. The text focuses on attaining virtuous morals, kindness, and adhering to the etiquette of the ancestors, while directing the reader to avoid the behaviors of the tyrants, idle talk, and hesitations. The book aims to guide students of science to a balanced behavior that combines piety and seriousness in the pursuit of knowledge.
