روضة العقلاء ونزهة الفضلاء ألّفه محمد بن حبان بن أحمد بن حبان بن معاذ بن مَعْبدَ، التميمي، أبو حاتم، الدارمي، البُستي (المتوفى: 354هـ)، ويتناول الكتاب سلوك الإنسان مع ربه ونفسه ومجتمعه، ويقع الكتاب في خمسين فصلاً تتناول ما ينبغي للإنسان أن يلتزمه من سلوك تجاه نفسه وربه ومجتمعه ، منها خمسة عشر موضوعا في أدب النفس، وسلوك الإنسان مع ربه كلزوم العقل والعلم ولزوم القناعة والرضا بالشدائد والصبر عليها. أما بقية الموضوعات تعنى بالآداب الاجتماعية وتنظيم سلوك الإنسان في المجتمع.

Translation

The Kindergarten of the Wise and the Journey of the Virtuous was written by Muhammad ibn Hibban ibn Ahmad ibn Hibban ibn Muaz ibn Ma’bad, Al-Tamimi, Abu Hatim, Al-Darimi, Al-Busti (died: 354 AH), and the book deals with man’s behavior with his Lord, himself, and his society. The book is divided into fifty chapters that deal with the behavior a person should adhere to toward himself, his Lord, and his society, including fifteen topics in the etiquette of the soul, and man’s behavior with his Lord is like the necessity of reason. Knowledge, the necessity of contentment, acceptance of adversity, and patience with it. The rest of the topics are concerned with social etiquette and regulating human behavior in society.
