كتاب الأذكياء هو كتاب في نوادر الأذكياء وطرائف أخبارهم، ألفه الحافظ ابن الجوزي (508 هـ - 597 هـ)، وقد بنى الؤلف كتابه على ثلاثة وثلاثين بابا منها: فضل العقل وماهيته ومحله، والذهن والفهم والذكاء، وعلامات الذكاء، والمنقول من فطنة الأنبياء، وعن الأمم السابقة، وعن النبي محمد، والصحابة، والخلفاء، والوزراء، والقضاة، والعلماء والزهاد، وعلماء العربية، واستخدام الذكاء للأغراض، ومن انعكس عليه ذكاؤه، واحترازات الآذكياء، وفطنة النساء، والصبيان، والشعراء، والمحاربين، وعقلاء المجانين. قال ابن الجوزي في مقدمة كتابه :

Translation

The Book of Intelligent People is a book about the anecdotes of intelligent people and their anecdotal stories, written by Al-Hafiz Ibn al-Jawzi (508 AH - 597 AH). The author built his book on thirty-three chapters, including: The virtue of the mind, its nature and place, reason, understanding, intelligence, and signs of intelligence, and what is transmitted from the acumen of the prophets, from previous nations, from the Prophet Muhammad, the companions, the caliphs, the ministers, the judges, and the scholars. Ascetics, Arabic scholars, the use of intelligence for purposes, those whose intelligence is reflected in them, the precautions of intelligent people, the acumen of women, boys, poets, warriors, and the wise men of madmen. Ibn al-Jawzi said in the introduction to his book:
