This book, “Calls of the Most Gracious to the People of Faith” by Abu Bakr Al-Jaza’iri, deals with a group of divine calls directed to people to be guided by the Qur’an and Sunnah. The book focuses on divine directives in many areas of religious and moral behavior, including etiquette with the Prophet, patience, spending for the sake of God, the prohibition of usury, warnings against following unbelievers, and the necessity of fearing God in word and deed. The book aims to remind the reader of the importance of responding to these calls to achieve happiness in this world and the hereafter, with a focus on etiquette in dealing with the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.
