كتاب "وظائف رمضان" هو مختصر لطيف من تأليف عبد الرحمن بن قاسم، مستلخص من كتاب "لطائف المعارف" لابن رجب الحنبلي مع زيادات من المؤلف. يندرج الكتاب ضمن تصنيف الرقاق والآداب والأذكار، ويتناول فضائل شهر رمضان المبارك وأحكامه، فيذكر فضل الصيام والجود وتلاوة القرآن، وقيام الليل والتراويح، وفضل العشر الأواخر وليلة القدر، ويختتم بوصية في وداع الشهر وصيام ست من شوال. يهدف الكتاب إلى تحفيز الهمم على اغتنام نفحات هذا الموسم الشريف بالطاعات.
Translation
The book “Functions of Ramadan” is a nice summary written by Abd al-Rahman bin Qasim, extracted from the book “Latif al-Ma’rif” by Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali, with additions from the author. The book falls under the classification of Al-Riqaq, Etiquettes, and Remembrances, and deals with the virtues of the blessed month of Ramadan and its rulings. It mentions the virtue of fasting, generosity, recitation of the Qur’an, night prayers and Tarawih prayers, the virtue of the last ten nights and Laylat Al-Qadr, and concludes with a commandment to bid farewell to the month and fast six days of Shawwal. The book aims to motivate people to seize the benefits of this noble season through acts of obedience.
