هذا الكتاب "أعلام النبوة" للعلامة الماوردي، وهو كتاب في السيرة والشمائل يتعرض للنبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم من خلال دراسة شاملة لخصائصه وصفاته. يبدأ الكتاب بتعريف المؤلف والمشايخ الذين سمع منه، ثم ينتقل إلى مقدمة المؤلف التي تشرح أهمية النبوة والتعريف بالله المعبود. يلي ذلك الباب الأول في مقدمة الأدلة، الذي يتعرض لدراسة علم الاكتساب والضرورة والدليل وأحكام العقل وأحكام السمع. ثم يأتي الباب الثاني في معرفة الإله المعبود، الذي يتعرض لقول النصارى ومعنى الوحدانية. يلي ذلك الباب الثالث في صحة التكليف، الذي يتعرض لتعريفات للتكليف وجوب التكليف وشرعية التكليف والأمر والإرادة وشروط صحة الأمر ووقت الأمر. يظهر من خلال هذا الكتاب أن الماوردي كان من أهم أعلام الفقه واللغة والفكر في العصر العباسي، وإن كتابه هذا يعد من أهم المصادر في دراسة السيرة النبوية والشمائل.
Translation
This book, “Images of the Prophethood” by Al-Mawardi, is a book on the biography and characteristics of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, through a comprehensive study of his characteristics and attributes. The book begins by introducing the author and the sheikhs he heard from, then moves to the author’s introduction, which explains the importance of prophecy and introducing God to be worshipped. This is followed by the first chapter in the introduction to evidence, which deals with the study of the science of acquisition, necessity, evidence, the rulings of reason, and the rulings of hearing. Then comes the second chapter on knowing the worshiped God, which deals with what Christians say and the meaning of oneness. This is followed by the third chapter on the validity of the assignment, which deals with definitions of the assignment, the obligation of the assignment, the legitimacy of the assignment, the command and will, the conditions for the validity of the command, and the time of the command. It appears from this book that Al-Mawardi was one of the most important figures of jurisprudence, language, and thought in the Abbasid era, and that his book is considered one of the most important sources in the study of the Prophet’s biography and virtues.
