الإملاء المختصر في شرح غريب السير للشيخ الفقيه أبو ذر الخشني هو مؤلف يدمج سيرة النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم مع توضيح الغرائب اللغوية والنحوية التي وردت فيها. يقتبس الكتاب الرواية عن عبد الملك بن هشام وزياد بن عبد الله، ثم يفسّر الأبيات الشعرية التي تحمل معانٍ صعبة مع إيضاح معاني الكلمات والقواعد النحوية. يهدف إلى اختصار الشرح دون الإخلال بالبيان، معتمدًا أسلوبًا موجزًا يجمع بين السرد التاريخي والتحليل اللغوي.

Translation

The brief dictation in Sharh Gharib al-Sir by Sheikh Jurist Abu Dhar al-Khushani is a book that combines the biography of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, with an explanation of the linguistic and grammatical oddities that were mentioned in it. The book quotes the novel by Abdul Malik bin Hisham and Ziyad bin Abdullah, then explains the poetic verses that carry difficult meanings while clarifying the meanings of the words and grammatical rules. It aims to shorten the explanation without disturbing the statement, adopting a concise style that combines historical narration and linguistic analysis.
