The book The Biography of the Prophet and News of the Caliphs by Ibn Hibban is a book in the field of biography and virtues that combines the biography of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the news of the Rightly Guided Caliphs. It includes an account of the events of his birth, his prophecies, his migration, and the invasions, in addition to directions for adhering to the Sunnah of the Prophet and the Sunnah of the Rightly Guided Caliphs and urging the spread of knowledge. It aims to document the history of the hadith scholars and remind the reader of the importance of memorizing the Sunnahs and avoiding innovations.
