المغازي أو (مغازي الواقدي) هو كتاب ألَّفه أبو عبد الله محمد بن عمر بن واقد السهمي المعروف بالواقدي، جمَعَ فيه الواقدي قصص غزوات رسول اللهصلى الله عليه وسلم وسراياه1، ويتألف كتاب المغازي للواقدي من ثلاثة أجزاء. أرَّخ الواقدي في هذا الكتاب كثيرًا من الأحداث التاريخية الإسلامية المبكرة التي لم تؤرَّخ عن غيره من المؤرخين كابن إسحاق.
Translation
Al-Maghazi or (The Conquests of Al-Waqidi) is a book written by Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Omar bin Waqid Al-Sahmi, known as Al-Waqidi. In it, Al-Waqidi collected the stories of the conquests of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his convoys1. The book Al-Maghazi by Al-Waqidi consists of three parts. In this book, Al-Waqidi chronicled many early Islamic historical events that were not chronicled by other historians such as Ibn Ishaq.
