هذا كتاب "جوامع السيرة وخمس رسائل أخرى" للعلامة ابن حزم، وهو كتاب من تصنيف السيرة والشمائل. يحتوي الكتاب على فهرس محتويات يضم العديد من البابيات والفصول التي تناولت مختلف جوانب حياة الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم، من مولده ومبعثه إلى غزواته وأمرائه وأخلاقه. يبدأ الكتاب بتعريف ابن حزم نفسه وتعريف السيرة النبوية، ثم ينتقل إلى تناول موضوعات متعددة، بما في ذلك نسب الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم ومولده ومبعثه، وأهمية السيرة النبوية في مذهب أهل الظاهر، والاستكثار من السنن والاستفادة منها. يظهر من مقتطف بداية الكتاب أن ابن حزم كان يهدف إلى وضع السيرة النبوية في شكل مختصر قريب المأخذ، سهل المتناول، في أيدي طلابه، ولكنها ليست الغاية الوحيدة من كتابته للسيرة.

Translation

This is the book “Jami’ al-Sira and Five Other Treatises” by the scholar Ibn Hazm, and it is a book from the classification of Sirah and Shama’il. The book contains a table of contents that includes many chapters and chapters that deal with various aspects of the life of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, from his birth and mission to his conquests, princes, and morals. The book begins with Ibn Hazm defining himself and the biography of the Prophet, then moving on to address multiple topics, including the lineage of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, his birth and resurrection, the importance of the Prophet’s biography in the doctrine of the people of Zahir, and multiplying the Sunnahs and benefiting from them. It appears from the excerpt at the beginning of the book that Ibn Hazm aimed to put the Prophet’s biography in a concise, accessible form in the hands of his students, but this was not the only goal of his writing the biography.
