كتاب "دلائل النبوة ومعرفة أحوال صاحب الشريعة" للإمام أبي بكر البيهقي هو مصنف موسوعي في باب السيرة والشمائل، يجمع الأدلة والبراهين على نبوة النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم. يبدأ الكتاب بمدخل يتناول طرق إثبات النبوة من القرآن وغيره، ثم ينتقل لسرد دلائل النبوة من خلال قصص إسلام الصحابة الأوائل كخديجة وأبي بكر وأبي ذر، وصولاً إلى خصائص التصور الإسلامي وجهاد النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم. وقد حظي الكتاب بثناء العلماء قديماً وحديثاً، حيث وصفه الحافظ ابن كثير بأنه من عيون ما صنف في السيرة والشمائل.
Translation
The book “Evidence of Prophethood and Knowledge of the Conditions of the Owner of Sharia” by Imam Abu Bakr al-Bayhaqi is an encyclopedic work in the section on biography and virtues, collecting evidence and proofs of the prophethood of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace. The book begins with an introduction that addresses the methods of proving prophecy from the Qur’an and elsewhere, then moves on to narrate the evidence of prophecy through the stories of the early companions’ conversion to Islam, such as Khadija, Abu Bakr, and Abu Dhar, leading to the characteristics of the Islamic conception and the jihad of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. The book received praise from ancient and modern scholars, as Al-Hafiz Ibn Katheer described it as one of the best works written on biography and poetry.
