Translation

Mustaḥidb al-Ikhbar bi-Atiyāb al-Akhbar by Abu Madīn al-Fāsī is a biography and history book that expands on what Imam Ahmad ibn Faris presented in “Ujjaz al-Siyār.” It reviews the lineage of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, his birth, his marriage with Khadija, his children, the mothers of the believers, and his relatives, in addition to his loyal men and women, his servants, the memory of building the Kaaba, and the stages of migration and conquests. The book includes detailed chapters about the life of the Prophet from his birth to his death, with reference to events such as the story of Bahiri al-Rahib, the Battle of Waddan, and his friendships between the immigrants and the Ansar. The book was prepared from a manuscript that was verified and edited to appear in the light as a comprehensive prophetic biography reference.
