The book “Miniyat al-Sul fi Fafaliyyat al-Messenger” by Izz al-Din Ibn Abd al-Salam is included in the books of biography and virtues, and is concerned with explaining the aspects of God Almighty’s preference for the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, over the rest of creation. The author begins his book by mentioning the verses that indicate the preference for the prophets, then he begins to list the aspects of this preference for the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, starting with his being the master of the children of Adam, citing the prophetic hadiths that confirm this.
