التمهيد لما في الموطأ من المعاني والأسانيد هو شرح للأحاديث المرفوعة في الموطأ، ألفه الحافظ ابن عبد البر (368-463)، ويعتبر التمهيد كتابًا فريدًا في بابه، وموسوعة شاملة في الفقه والحديث، وهو كتاب شرح فيه ابن عبد البر كتاب الموطأ للإمام مالك بن أنس، ولكنه رتبه ترتيبًا آخر يختلف عن ترتيب الإمام مالك، حيث أنه رتبه بطريقة الإسناد على أسماء شيوخ الإمام مالك، الذين روى عنهم ما في الموطأ من الأحاديث، فقد جمع أحاديث كل راو في مسند على حِدَةٍ معتمدًا في ترتيبهم على حروف المعجم وترجم للرواة وخرج الأحاديث وشرحها لغويًّا وفقهيًّا، وذكر آراء أهل العلم والفقه، وقد اقتصر فيه على ما ورد عن الرسول من الحديث، متص …

Translation

The introduction to the meanings and chains of transmission in Al-Muwatta is an explanation of the hadiths raised in Al-Muwatta, written by Al-Hafiz Ibn Abd al-Barr (368-463). The preface is considered a unique book in its chapter, and a comprehensive encyclopedia of jurisprudence and hadith. It is a book in which Ibn Abd al-Barr explained the book Al-Muwatta by Imam Malik ibn Anas, but he arranged it in another order that differs from the order of Imam Malik, as he arranged it in a chain of narration based on the names of the sheikhs of Imam Malik, who He narrated from them the hadiths in Al-Muwatta. He collected the hadiths of each narrator in a separate musnad, relying in their order on the letters of the dictionary.
