About this work

هذا كتاب في شرح أحاديث "الجامع الصغير"، ينتظم على ترتيب حروف المعجم، وقد بدأه المؤلف بالحمد لله والثناء على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وذكر أنه اختصره من شرح سابق له على الجامع الصغير، وأبقى على الأصل محافظة على النكت والتحقيقات التي فيه، مع إضافة نبذة من الظرف والأدب، معترفاً بالقصور والتقصير، داعياً من يجد هفوة إلى إصلاحها.

Translation

This is a book explaining the hadiths of “Al-Jami’ Al-Saghir”, organized according to the alphabetical order of the dictionary, and the author began it by praising God and praising the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and stated that he shortened it from his previous explanation of Al-Jami’ Al-Saghir, and kept the original, preserving the jokes and investigations in it, while adding a bit of circumstance and etiquette, acknowledging the shortcomings and negligence, calling on anyone who finds a lapse to correct it.
